ITINERARY

A challenging 5-day trek crossing Sar Pass at 4,220m. Beautiful alpine meadows, snow-capped peaks, and pristine forests.

Day 1 1,580m → 2,350m 5-6 hours

Kasol to Grahan Village

Start early morning from Kasol. Drive to Grahan village (trek starting point). Begin trek through beautiful pine and oak forests. Steady ascent through well-defined trails. Pass through traditional Himachali villages. Reach Grahan village in the evening. Set up camp. Enjoy dinner with mountain views. Overnight stay at Grahan.

Day 2 2,350m → 3,385m 5-6 hours

Grahan to Min Thatch

Wake up early for breakfast. Begin trek from Grahan village. Trail passes through dense forests of pine and rhododendron. Gradual ascent through beautiful landscapes. Reach Min Thatch (meadow campsite) in the afternoon. Set up camp in the meadow. Enjoy stunning views of surrounding peaks. Overnight stay at Min Thatch.

Day 3 3,385m → 3,750m 4-5 hours

Min Thatch to Nagaru

Start early morning from Min Thatch. Trail continues upward through alpine meadows. Beautiful views of snow-capped peaks. Steeper sections require careful footing. Reach Nagaru campsite (highest campsite) in the afternoon. Set up camp near the snow line. Prepare for next day's pass crossing. Overnight stay at Nagaru.

Day 4 3,750m → 4,220m → 3,350m 6-7 hours

Nagaru to Biskeri via Sar Pass

Early morning start for Sar Pass crossing. Begin ascent to Sar Pass (4,220m) - the highest point of the trek. Snow-covered trail requires proper gear and guidance. Reach Sar Pass summit. Stunning 360-degree views of snow-capped peaks. Begin descent to Biskeri campsite through snow patches and meadows. Set up camp at Biskeri. Celebrate the successful pass crossing. Overnight stay at Biskeri.

Day 5 3,350m → 1,200m 5-6 hours

Biskeri to Barshaini and Kasol

Wake up for final day breakfast. Begin descent from Biskeri through forests and meadows. Trail passes through beautiful landscapes. Gradual descent to Barshaini. Reach Barshaini by afternoon. Drive back to Kasol. Trip concludes. Optional: Stay overnight in Kasol to relax and explore.
