Arrival in Manali

Arrive in Manali. Transfer to hotel and rest for acclimatization. Evening walk around Mall Road and acclimatization at 2,050m altitude. Briefing about the expedition.

Manali to Kaza via Kunzum Pass

Drive to Kaza crossing Kunzum Pass (4,551m) - gateway to Spiti Valley. Visit Batal village and arrive at Kaza (headquarters of Spiti). Acclimatization at 3,800m.

Day 3 3,800m → 4,587m

Kaza - Key Monastery & Villages

Visit Key Monastery (1000-year-old Buddhist monastery). Explore Langza village (fossil village at 4,400m), Hikkim (world's highest post office), and Komic (Asia's highest village at 4,587m).

Kaza to Pin Valley National Park

Drive to Pin Valley National Park, home to snow leopards and ibex. Visit Kungri Monastery and explore the beautiful Pin River valley. Experience the unique flora and fauna.

Pin Valley to Kaza

Return to Kaza. Visit Dhankar Monastery (ancient fort monastery) and Dhankar Lake. Explore Kaza market and local Spitian culture. Evening rest and acclimatization.

Kaza to Chandratal Lake

Drive to Chandratal Lake (Moon Lake) at 4,300m. The pristine blue lake surrounded by mountains is one of the most beautiful in the Himalayas. Camp by the lake under starlit sky.

Chandratal to Manali

Early morning photography at Chandratal. Drive back to Manali via Kunzum Pass and Rohtang Pass. Arrive in Manali by evening. Celebration dinner and rest.

Transfer to airport or bus stand for onward journey. Depart with memories of the mystical Spiti Valley.
