The best time to visit Ladakh is from May to September when the weather is pleasant and all passes are open. June to August offers the warmest temperatures, while May and September are ideal for avoiding crowds while still enjoying good weather.

No prior trekking experience is required for this expedition. However, you should be in good physical condition and able to walk for 4-6 hours daily. The expedition is rated as "Moderate" difficulty, suitable for beginners with reasonable fitness levels.

We include 2 full days of acclimatization in Leh (3,500m) before heading to higher altitudes. Our guides are trained to recognize symptoms, and we carry oxygen cylinders and first aid kits. We recommend staying hydrated, avoiding alcohol, and following our guide's advice throughout the journey.

We'll provide a detailed packing list upon booking. Essentials include: warm layers (thermal wear, fleece, down jacket), comfortable trekking shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen (SPF 50+), hat, water bottle, personal medications, and camera. We provide camping equipment, sleeping bags, and mattresses.

In Leh, we stay in comfortable hotels with modern amenities. During the expedition, we camp in high-quality tents with sleeping bags and mattresses. All campsites are carefully selected for safety and scenic beauty. Toilet facilities are available at all locations.

All meals are included in the expedition cost. We provide nutritious, freshly prepared meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We accommodate vegetarian and non-vegetarian preferences. Special dietary requirements can be arranged with prior notice.

We maintain small group sizes of 6-12 participants to ensure personalized attention, safety, and a better experience. This allows our guides to provide individual care and ensures everyone can fully enjoy the journey.

Yes, travel insurance covering high-altitude trekking and medical evacuation is mandatory. We recommend purchasing insurance that covers activities up to 6,000m altitude. We can provide recommendations for suitable insurance providers.

Leh is accessible by flight from Delhi, Mumbai, and other major cities. Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport (IXL) is well-connected. Alternatively, you can drive from Manali (2 days) or Srinagar (2 days) via scenic routes. We can assist with flight bookings and transfers.
